I lead a miserable and pathetic life, but Cougfarm is a riot after an Apple Cup pounding. I'm hoping this Leach leaving thread will deliver.

This one could be really good. I hope they hire him at UGA.

Leach needs to leave pronto, his rant about being losers after the game sure was telling.

The WSU job was perfect for Leach to restart his coaching career. You have almost no expectations and no real criticism.

He should ride out the Luke Falk train and then move to a school with more recruiting advantages. Every coach wants to win championships, and that's almost impossible to do at WSU.

If you can't see the Falk train derailed after the second concussion I can't help help you.

It's a huge gamble for him to stay another year without exposing a ceiling.

Yep. There's always a solid chance of injury as a QB in that system.

He will have a solid season next year unless he gets Connor Halliday'd early.

"I'd be lying if I said no. However, from everything I've heard it sounds like he's very happy in Pullman and why would you walk away from what you're starting to build? You have a defense that's improved in every statistic and a Heisman caliber QB that's only a sophomore. I think he'll be back."

Time to Falk a grain silo.
  • I hear his wife loves it in Pullman and he doesn't want to move his kids again.

Plus the direct flights from Pullman to Key West make it an easy commute home.

He pilots his own bi plane from Pullman to Kee West. Leach to Miami, cook it.

Why would Leach come to WSU for four years and bolt after his hard work is starting to pay off? That doesn't make much sense.

Hi have you heard of Dennis Erickson and a rebound job?

I hope that thread gets going, it's delicious

Georgia's stupider than I thought. Richt is a shitty coach, but the program isn't in the ditch, and this is a BAD year to be on the market for a new coach

I think people need to remember it's not that easy to find dynasty coaches. People complain about every coach, but the idiots complaining about les miles all day long are idiots. The guy brings winning a NC to the table almost every year, which is about all you could ask for. While richt isnt on fire, tennessee ran out a guy who used to win 10 games EVERY year. Oops. Program still hasn't recovered. UGA is going down that path where they will hire the hot coach from some high flying offensive school and end up in a shit sandwich 3 years from now starting over.

    Kiffin should be available.

Leech won't leave. His perpetual rolling contract is a annuity that never ends. As long as Bull Moose is providing big money he doesn't have and the newspapers don't start poking around WSU's financials, Leech is golden forevah.

Message boards are most awesome after a loss though.

This. Miles needs pressure to improve his offense. Specifically their passing game.

Richt is good but just not on the level of the heavy weights in that conference. If Bama doesn't have that goal line stand vs Georgia in the sec game a few years back then uga plungers Norte dame and wins the natty and he never gets fired. Small margins of error. Better get it right because Lsu and Georgia can do a lot worse.

See uw Nebraska Texas Tennessee and a long list of programs that had it going but ruined it with bad hires at different times.
