Alabambi plays 1 ranked team the rest of season

This is rediculous. Stanford, Oregon will play 4 . That SEC conference schedule is so challenging. Then play an overrated Georgia with no defense and slide into title game. Stanford or Oregon, Ohio st or Clemson will get fucked. Even if Tide loses SEC title game, they'll Backdoor the aforementioned teams for a spot.

Next year there will be a (slightly less rigged) playoff. Even then it will be fucked up. Personally I think we should go back to conference tie-ins to bowl games, like it was in nineteen-dickety-five.

    THIS

Pac 12 champ plays the Big 10 champ in the Rose Bowl.

SEC champ plays the Big 12 champ in the Sugar Bowl.

Winners play in the bonus bowl.

How it should be every year.

  • Bama has already played two ranked teams while Oregon hasn't.....

The 4 team playoff won't fix anything. Someone will still feel like they got fucked every year. A real 16 team playoff like the FCS would be awesome, but it makes too much sense for the NCAA and BCS.

Then WTF is Kraft, Chick-Fil-A, Idaho Potato, etc. going to do? Worst yet, what about all the 6-6/7-5/8-4 teams? Does that mean top 16 now becomes house money?

The shit tier bowls will still exist with a 16 team playoff.

Just look at the NIT/CBI/CIT shit after all.

that's great but what about ND and the ACC. Of course ND is independent come bowl-selection time. Why can't the fraud factors be taken out of college football. Conferences, presidents, AD's, coaches have allowed fraud for decades. A playoff should have happened in '98. Why does the pac12 gargle the SECards?

8-team playoff would solve all, for now!

It is not about being fair or crowning a National Champion.

The official NCAA Division I football National Champion (for the last two years) is North Dakota State.

Bowls are exhibitions. BCS is an exhibition. If I do not want to invite the ACC or ND to my exhibition tournament, I don't have to.

Doogs like Softy still brag about that day. Sad to most Doogs that's the best college football day they've experienced in the past 12 years.

I agree with them that Oregon was dominated in the trenches that entire game. However, unlike them I won't ignore the fact that one fluke play decided that game. What's frustrating for me is that the Oregon teams since would have beaten that runner-up Oregon team by multiple touchdowns. Including this year's team that would be calling off the dogs mid 3rd quarter.

I don't know about the 2011 team but the 2012/2013 UO teams would have boat raced that 2010 team.

Auburn dominated that game at the LOS but despite that UO was all tied up. Then the most fluke play in national championship history occurred.

That's not a fluke play and you know that. That's just a ref being fucking terrible at his job.
