Name to Keep an Eye On, WR Transfer Edition

If he doesn't declare for the NFL he will likely graduate transfer and play elsewhere in 2016. UW will be a school he looks at and will have a great shot at him if he doesn't go pro.
Just wanted to throw that out there to say I was first to say it if it happens.
Keep an eye on an announcement from him in the coming weeks, hope he doesn't go pro.

He would be great. I'm skeptical if he would want to play in UW's offense when he likely has better options. Is he from a UW family?
-
Not sure on that, just know that he is gone either way most likely and that UW would be under consideration.
He would be a fantastic pickup but I bet he likely goes to the NFL. -
His grandfather played for UW in the early 60's
-
This would be amazing. That dude is a baller.

Parents went to PLU. Dad played in the NFL. Grandpa went to UW and played in the NFL, had a very good career.
They need to get this guy. Exactly what we fuckin need. Look what Oregon did last year. Adams saved them from a disastrous season.
How much better would this fucking offense be with Ross and Cupp as your 1-2 WRs?
Speaking of Oregon he reminds me of that Jeff Maehl guy. Look at these highlights...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuyJjtMpcJs

A white WR getting drafted? LOL.
I like UW's chances... -

A package deal with Beau Baldwin?
-
He's a WR that's thrown 2 passes for 45 yards and 2 TDs this year.
He'll do well in replacing Marvin Hall -
Recall how Ross was utilized in 2014?HeretoBeatmyChest said:Parents went to PLU. Dad played in the NFL. Grandpa went to UW and played in the NFL, had a very good career.

Here is a name to keep an eye on: Anna Kupp.
(flags incoming.) -
He seems like a real lunch pail guy. Brings it on every play and never takes a down off. He's almost like the quarterback of the wide receiver group out there. An extension of the coach out on the field. May not be the fastest guy out there but he's a student of the game. He excels because of his toughness and heady play. Nobody's going to out-smart him on the field.

Also, blah blah blah, Julian Edelman, something something.
Also, lol at Colabro calling him 'Connor Cupp'; Also lol at Jeff Maehl ref; Also...
WE NEED THIS GUY.
Fuck, we could actually get a lot better with Kongbo and this dude. -
Any WR that would want to play in this offense is FS
-
I'd be shocked if he was anything higher than a 4th or 5th round pick in the NFL playing at the level that he's playing at. Would probably be better served proving it at the NFL level and trying to turn it into a top 3 round pick.
-
And for anybody questioning why he'd come to UW ... some of you need to start forecasting forward to what this conference looks like 9 months from now.
-
You need to forecast what schools would help Kupp's NFL prospects... It's probably not UW.Tequilla said:And for anybody questioning why he'd come to UW ... some of you need to start forecasting forward to what this conference looks like 9 months from now.

Because UW doesn't throw the football?RoadDawg55 said:

I'm failing to see your point. -
He's better than anybody we've got now - not even close.

Love his physicality and he has good speed.
He could step in and be the #1 WR since Pettis, Lenius, and Renfro haven't shown much consistency and Ross has been hurt.
Also better timing since the offense returns 8 starters:
QB: True Soph Browning (should have a big jump in numbers after a year of starting)
RB: True Soph Gaskin (best surprise of the year, FEED HIM in the AC)
WR: RS-JR Ross (not a #1 until proven otherwise)
WR: Pettis / Lenius / Renfro (Renfo has the highest ceiling but only a true soph)
LT: True Soph Adams (Has the potential to be best Husky OL since Khalif Barnes)
LG: RS-SR Eldrenkamp (Roberts could push him)
RG: RS-JR Shelton (Sosebee could push him)
RT: RS-Soph McGary (Kirkland is more consistent but McGary has a much higher ceiling)
So TwoGirlsOneKupp could step in as a RS-SR with RS-JR Ross and Pettis / Renfro / Lenius. He'd be great in the 2nd level passing game, also has the quickness / physicality for the bubble screen game but probably also a good guy to block on it if it went to Ross. -
What better option is there than an offense that has a 1000 yard Freshman RB and chooses to throw 65 times a game???RoadDawg55 said:He would be great. I'm skeptical if he would want to play in UW's offense when he likely has better options. Is he from a UW family?

This thread is right in my wheelhouse. Would be an unbelievable get. Kid is amazing.
In the highlight vid, the last fade for a touchdown is a thing of beauty. I remember during the broadcast they showed an angle closeup of his footwork. I came. Absolutely shook the guy out of his shoes. I'd give my left nut for someone to find that video/gif. Grundle?
I'm dooging hard, but didn't Petersen talk about how it's really hard/nearly impossible to get a grad transfer in at UW because of the way timing works here? -
From what I've read sounds like he probably goes to the NFL. One site has him as the 17th best WR going in the 4th round.
With this guy I think we could win the north next year. -
Lol. If he's gonna grad transfer anywhere... There's an offense that is a wide receivers wet dream 65 miles south of Cheney. #gocougs

If a WR from EWU were going to transfer to a Pac-12 school, it'd probably be Wazzu, especially since he's from Yakima. -
Throw every coffee cup in the book at him.

Just call me Eklund, Scott..... I apologize to the bored, myself, and my family for this failure. It will likely happen again, but I'll blame it on my sources next time.
