I would be more of a sarcastic asshole than tough guy. For example, if the bartender was taking their time to get me a drink I would say to Petersen, "It's so hard to get a drink around here. It's just so hard. Maybe once I get a few more drinks in me I can figure out the best way to attack the bar in order to get a drink."

Sometimes you really have to be stubborn with your drink orders. Although, its not something you like to do, but the bartender is sometimes going to take away a drink choice or two, that's when you need to accept what the bartender is going to give you and really trust your gut to be able to handle the 62 beers instead of going with what you know to be the most effective drink in the bar.
