I'm thumbing thru the channels watching other games, and I'm seeing other teams' WRs making great catches on off-target throws.
Our guys apparently need to have the ball delivered right on the numbers. Even then they can't be counted on.

Yup. Our WR's are super pedestrian.
But, what worries me is that they're all pedestrian in the same way. When I see that: it's coaching. -

Praying John Ross comes back healthy. His speed is game-changing...of course we need a QB that can throw a deep ball.

In broad strokes the only group on the field not improving at all are these very average at best receivers.
Assuming Cobra hits the weights this winter he'll improve the arm strength but without some change in how the WR's are coached not to be pussies and actually be in position to make plays that will just mean faster passes bounce off their hands.

Mickens is pretty special at dropping passes, running backwards, moving every muscle on his entire body while staying in the same place on the field, and just overall playing like a spaz.
I'm gonna miss this guy. I almost never make fun of our players. But he's special. -
