This has always been my point about Brownshorts—he doesn't SUCK, but he's no fucking savior.
He's just another decent QB. Pretty much any good Pac-12 QB recruit would play this well as a true frosh. -

This. It's common sense. I don't give a shit that Gaskin was 15 for 40 except for the one run. What was Browning in the 2nd half? He was also bad. A one yard gain on a run is better than an incomplete pass. Passing almost every down and letting ASU pin their ears back and get after a true freshman QB... It's just not smart football.
And just as concerning is not capitalizing on opportunities. And you can tell from the coaching staff on down that the team's assholes puckered up once ASU got any momentum. -
