Why does Petersen say Browning is accurate? Deserves own thread.

Missed 3 TD throws. Kid is very average, but I guess he competes bubble screens so that is ok.

He's a gritty kid, but inconsistent. It's not really surprising for a true freshman QB. The real problem is the pressure they put on him.

There are a lot of things to like about him. He has balls, he isn't afraid to rip it in the red zone and he doesn't freak out with pressure in his face. However I think his lack of arm strength is a real problem. You can tell especially on his deep throws where the accuracy takes a bit hit.

Browning lacks composure in pressure situations. That and he is personally responsible for multiple touchdowns not being made on good play calls.

It's both. Obviously the coach shoulders much of the blame, but the bottom line is that browning chokes in the red zone, late in the game, whatever. He won in high school because his teams avalanched people and he could get away with inaccurate deep balls. Not any more.
I don't have a lot of hope for browning going forward. -
The post game guys in studio said that brownshorts missed open people. He had chances, and he blew it.

I think he's fine. He just threw for 400 yards or so on the road in conference, albeit against a garbage defense. There's plenty to work w/ here
