Smith seems perfectly fine giving away plays (and series) when he calls the bubble/screen package, the Lindquist package, throwing to much in general, but spec on first down where more times than not it's a incompletion and sticking us in 2nd in long. Is that common to "lose the battle", but set it up so you "win the war" later in the game?

has Petersen lost something in the last couple of years?
92-12 to 12-11 is almost an un-explainable drop off. -
