Oregon fans say the same thing about Ed Cunningham and analyst Robert Smith.

Unless you want commentary from scripted robots, I don't know how to prevent bias. There's always going to be some bias, some rooting interest. If it bothers people that much, put the TV on mute. Frankly, I prefer mute to almost all commentators. I generally do that when I watch alone, but when other people are with me, they think it's wierd, so I turn on the volume. But whatever.

I loved it when Dan Fouts called the Husky Duck game if we (?) won. His tears added to the experience

If it's any consolation, Husky fans don't much care for Cunningham either.

I'm like you. I turn down the volume. I get tired of the commentators' repetitive bullshit.

That's true. These analyst have the biggest stupid egos. It's always greatly satisfying having to watch them eat crow numerous times throughout the season. However, the 4-5 times they're right each season, mostly on obvious crap, they'll make sure you don't forget about it.

If this is what it takes to get Buck and Aikman banned from all future broadcasts, then I'm for it. But yeah, it's really, reaally, not gonna happen.
