Looks very unlikely that a Pac-12 team will make the playoff.

In this case, rightfully so.doogsinparadise said:Looks very unlikely that a Pac-12 team will make the playoff.

Puppy is the Pac 12 homer. I'm more expose the SEC for being overrated/fairness for all the other four Power 5. Try and keep up.PurpleJ said:

SEC
Fairness is for faggots -

Looks like TCU isnt welcome in the Big boy club
Maybe they should go back to the WAC -
Why would I be mad?
TCU and the Big 12 is set up where the Oklahoma schools, Baylor, and TCU all play each other in November. None of those teams have really proven anything worth a damn this week other than the egg that Oklahoma laid against Texas.
It's always been win the games on the schedule and control your own destiny. With the way the Big 12 is set up they aren't getting into the playoff unless it's a blue blood (which it won't be with Oklahoma/Texas being down ... and yes, I know Oklahoma has only lost 1 game but they are either the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big 12 in my mind) or the non blue blood is clearly one of the top 4 teams. They didn't get in last year simply because there wasn't enough of a compelling argument to CLEARLY prove that they were better than Ohio State and Ohio State is a blue blood. The fact that Ohio State won the title will only make it easier for the committee to act in a similar manner this year.
The only thing I don't agree with at this point is that Alabama is in the Top 4 ... that's on name only. Not only are they not the best 1 loss team in the country (I think that's Notre Dame) but the game that they lost to Ole Miss was bad ... it wasn't as close as the score indicated. -
What's your prediction for the LSU v Bama game?Tequilla said:Why would I be mad?

Bama would hang 50 on TCU and not give up 60 like some lame ass Big 12 team
-
Tcu or Baylor didn't get in because the Big12 commissionerFS played the wrong hand and wouldn't definitively name a conference champion. Thus giving Ohio State the #4 spot by default. In the end, the committee made the right call...obviously.Tequilla said:Why would I be mad?

Huh. LSU and Bama both in the top 4 the same week they play each other.
Wonder if TCU and Baylor were playing this week what the top 4 would look like. -
the SEC is really good at only letting teams get overrated if they're going to play better teams within their conference and consolidate their ranking equity.
on the other hand the Pac-12 selflessly overhypes the shit of out all their teams and gives away the conference value in OOC losses.
you're welcome world. -

The SEC gets hype, because they win championships and usually dominate when they play big OOC games. When was the last time a Pac-12 not named USC team won a natty? The SEC has had 5 different national champs since 1998...

The current rankings show the committee wants two SEC teams. It's set up for Bama to win this Saturday and win the SEC. LSU wins out and also makes the playoff.
Bama being #4 and Notre Dame #5 is bullshit. It shouldn't be a surprise though. -
Pretty sure Vegas would have Bama as the favorite over any Big 12 team
SRS too -
if ole miss wins out it takes the SEC East, then what?RoadDawg55 said:The current rankings show the committee wants two SEC teams. It's set up for Bama to win this Saturday and win the SEC. LSU wins out and also makes the playoff.
