If you try something 1000+ times, it's bound to work at least once.
Fuck Mickens & fuck Smiff! -
Bubble screen is a good curveball when you have other stuff working, not the fucking backbone of the offense.

Look at the bubble screens Oregon would run under Chip. I can't remember them not getting at least 12 yards when he called them. Reason being is because they were set up by an insanely good run game.
Unlike SmithFS who just kind of goes "hey let's run a bubble screen because idk".

Sprung only because of a great Pettis block.

every bubble screen ever is sprung by a great block, yet we dont seem to teach out WRs to blockGladstone said:Sprung only because of a great Pettis block.

That is correct. A bubble screen is shit, without proper blocking by other WR's. WSU teaches their receivers to block. If they can't or won't block, they don't play. If jaydon had success on a bubble screen someone was laying down a good block for him to run after the catchbrchco12 said:

on WR blocking, mickens had a nice block on the Dwash run which was nice to see. Bigger surprise was Dwash cutting inside that block and taking it to the house, instead of running into the back of mickens for a 7 yard gain.

McGary on the Warshington run also took his guy 10 yards down the field on a block...
