A lot of people read more into what I say than what I actually say ...
They also forget the shit that I do say that doesn't fit with their narratives of what I've said ...
You are clearly referencing the offense ... which I've long been on record as being critical of Smith and have on numerous occasions said that I'd make a change there. -
Nobody is taking the time to dig through and parse your doog anthology.Tequilla said:A lot of people read more into what I say than what I actually say ...

Back to the defense. I gotta see us do this against a somebody. Arizona and drunk Sark are nice, but I am withholding my praise until we kick a REAL opponent's teeth in. Simple fact. End of story. Fuck off.

If they hold that gay ass air raid to nothing then you know we are dealing with '91 type defensePurpleJ said:Back to the defense. I gotta see us do this against a somebody. Spot on. This is our best, hardest hitting defense we've had in the last 15 years and it's not even close.Tequilla said:Last 20 posts in the thread is what happens when people rely on numbers instead of their eyes to understand what is going on
The depth is being built, and if you look at who's out there, the majority of them are freshman and sophomores.
These kids are fast and like to hit (and the ballcarrier doesn't drag the pile or player. They go down right fucking at the point of contact.) There are 5-10 plays a game where we are lighting up whoever is unlucky enough to have the ball. Under Nue/Gilby/Ty/Sark it was 1-2 per week at best.
I may be a "doog" but on this one, the simple eyeball test tells you enough. Don't overthink it. This defense has the chance to be really special (by today's cfb "outdoor arena football" standards) next year and 2017.

Honcho is just a halfbrain parody at this point. Fucking hang it up man.

There's a lot of people that have the battered fan syndrome the last 15 years that are afraid to buy into what they are seeing and instead expect the worst.
The one that has been comical to me this year is the talk that the run defense is poor ... not only do the numbers not support it, but neither do the eyes -
#1 scoring defense in the conference. I'll grant they aren't 84 or 91 (I don't think anyone claimed they were), but best in the conference is damn good. If we (?) had an offense that was as mediocre as you think the defense is we'd (!) be undefeated.PurpleJ said:
What happened when they played Stanford and Cal? Is Arizona a good team? The answer is no. I'll be impressed if they can shut down Utah. Maybe. Probably not.dnc said:
Your analysis is average. At best.PurpleJ said:
I never said they suck. They're average.dnc said:
35 yards and a turnover on 16 plays. This defense SUCKS.PurpleJ said:
Preemptive bump fuckos!PurpleJ said:Pretty special to hold Stanford to a scant 478 yards and 31 points. Fucking idiot doogs. Hi @dnc @PostGameOrangeSlices @GreenRiverGatorz @CuntWaffle @Gladstone @Baseman @Tequilla @whatshouldicareabout @AtomicDawg @sarktastic @godawgst @RoadDawg55 @Swaye @HeretoBeatmyChest
The O/U is 500 yards and 35 points!
They're average until they can prove it over the course of the season. -
7th in the conference in offense and we have 1 loss at worst.
