Helfrich and Frost ran the ball 28 times in a 3OT game, for a 6.64 YPC average, 41 pass attempts.

Royce Freeman touched the ball 15 FUCKING TIMES, and still rushed for 119.

Obviously Oregon was outplayed all night, but Arizona State tried to give that game away on numerous occasssions.

It was a really weird game. Arizona State is one of the least penalized teams in football, but not last night. It also seemd like every penalty was at a crucial spot. For example the personal foul penalty when Oregon's drive had stalled. The illegal procedure penalties usually aren't a huge deal, except it seemed like they showed up everytime ASU got into the Oregon red zone.

Bevill thought the play calling in the thrid overtime was horrible. ASU is running down Oregon's throat, and they decide to throw not once but twice inside the three yard line? And even worse, they same exact route? What was even more amazing the receiver was open, but he didn't look for the ball.

Land Clark gave Mark an assist last night for sure

And yeah, the only coaching staff that is worse than UO's was ASU's. Just horrible.

Ducks caught ASU on a blitz and housed one, other than that not a great running performance.

They probably saw on film that ASU has really stymied SC, UCLAs and Utahs run games. My Broons lost to ASU largely because of how stubborn they were with the run, and SC ditched the run early.

Now helfrich can say he salvaged a down year where his qb was injured, on top of the last two seasons. It really is beautiful.

    Pretty sure they housed two.

Not an original thought, but imagine Oregon without VA. They'd be 2-6. Absent another VA, next year could be ugly for them.

ASU missed 3 FGs including a chip shot.

If only one of those went in...

From what I saw, Oregon will beat OSU to finish the final four games at 1-3 for a "solid" 6-6 mark. It's going to be fun in Vegas, or feel good fighting hunger. Either way, it will be special.
