WR and TE
We all understand that none of these guys are stars. But do some of you believe that Pettis, Lenius, and Daniels couldn't be reliable targets for say the Arizona schools, WSU, etc? My guess is they would be solid contributors, yet they suck at UW because.... Drum role..... The coaching sucks. Players normally suck when the coaching does.

Roadie makes a valid point. To me there's been a clear regression with the WR this year, part of that is obviously exacerbated by starting a true freshman QB, but it seems to go beyond that to me. Outside of Jonathan Smith being gently spritzed with napalm and set ablaze, my next preferred candidate for death by fire would be Brent Pease.

On offense, we assumed guys like Pettis and Lenius and Daniels would see the kind of improvement that Bierria, Gardenhire, Qualls and Victor have seen. It's happening on the defense, but not on the offense.
Maybe @HuskyInAZ can enlighten us with the dawgman, "get a life" perspective why we should ignore this? So our lives can be awesome?
Or just so we can regulate his emotional state for him by saying things that make him feel good and he doesn't disagree with?
Either way, our offense is a fucking dumpster fire and everyone involved with it should probably be canned.
I doubt Pete does anything, but if he does, I would fire Babushka first (QB play has been terrible and offensive schemes are a joke), then see what else we've got. Pease, Strausser and Bonerpha have produced good results prior to coming here.
The Boosh hasn't. He should be immediately jettisoned. -
Someone will eventually respond with "without Ross to push safeties over the top, the other receivers are getting bottled up", but remember Petersen wanted to convert Ross to a CB so even if this were true, Petersen is a fucking idiot anyways. 55 you are turning into one of them. You know who them is. You know damn well why Pete has played 5 qb's in 2 years, and damn well why they suck (not 1 Peter's fault). His fault Miley and Linda couldnt throw a forward pass? And damn well why there wasnt a usable upperclassman along the offensive line, no running back depth behind Sankey, or 1 upperclassman WR other than 5-8 Mickens. What about the upperclass TE's, Dline, corner and safety spots left to him by Seven? What the frig is Pete supposed to do?
Why do you hate him Roadie?? It WILL take another 21 games for this team to reach its goals. Because Petersen is coach however, the dawgs have a chance to be really good next year, a year early, and almost exclusively with Peter's freshmen sophomore and junior recruits. Its so obvious what is being built here yet a collection of buttsniffers like yourself cant see it. I made it clear this team would win 4-6 games. WTF record did you expect, in a conference loaded 10 out if 12 teams? Answer you whiney twat, and give us a few reasons why you think this team should be a bowl team this year, or a contender next year?

To go along with this thread, here are the rankings of receivers through the season so far.... NOT ONE receiver from UW on the list.
I actually can't stand Pease more so than even Babushka at this point. The lack of blocking by his WR's is appalling. We all bag on the bubble screen, but seriously there has been only a handful of times where we have thrown it that it was a bad "call".
A majority of the time it is Browning deciding to throw it because of the look the defense gives him. It's a really simple yes or no to even run it. It hurts me to think of the number of times I've seen us through it out there and be like, "good decision", only to see our WR/TE get blown up and the play goes for nothing.
In short, I want Pease and Smith gone. Keep Strausser and Bonopha.
