No way the Rhodes Scholar should survive his epic hiring debacle.
Maybe Haden will try the Art Briles approach: Suggest that Scott Woodard wasn't entirely forthcoming with info in order to deflect blame.

1. An athletic director who gives the keys to a marginally successful coach with an out-of-control drinking problem should be fired -- especially at a blue-blood program like USC.
That's pretty much my only point. -
I never cared about off field Sark. If he had won that's all that matters. Of course this is amusing but the fact is he is a bad coach.
I suspect that the great coaches do have more discipline in their lives but they can't all be saints either -
The real question is why do we want Haden fired? I think the man is doing a fine job.
