I think he fits as an ass kicking LB'er.....LOL to Jim Mora.

He wasn't expected to return next year regardless. Ive heard he's projected a top 10-15 pick. LB size with nickel coverage skills. That's pretty valuable in the NFL.
I still think he could have been a first round RB if he had played there full-time. -

I don't get why Mora would say all of this publicly.

Mora is showing off how his NFL contacts make him the best coach for budding NFL players who are seniors in high school

Sounds more like Pete Carroll when Mark Sanchez decided to go pro rather than sticking around 1 more year to help him win another NC.

This statement is 100% true. You see it every draft. You can end up on a better team if you get drafted later so its not all bad but it will cost you money, Staying another year and getting hurt or sucking can cost you money too.
"My personal opinion is he's a tremendous football player and a tremendous athlete," Mora said. "I think it's risky to do this. Having been on that side, there's going to be a lot of speculation as to what he is and where he fits. And as I told Myles on Sunday, NFL teams are very, very conservative, and if there's any question whatsoever, they'll pass on you in a heartbeat. They're going to take the sure thing and I explained that to him, but I feel like they already made their decision and so, like I said, I hope it works out the best for him. But I, as a guy that spent half of my life in the NFL, I would move with great caution and I would tell that to all of our players." -
Mora has always said what's his mind. The anti-Peterman. But I can't really argue with anything he said about Jack.
