If you're going to keep using Mike Leach audio as an intro, here's another sound clip that people here might know

Nice work guys.
FYI, our next podcast will be recorded this Wednesday. -
Gilby looked tanned, rested and ready on Saturday.

I know you're being sarcastic, but the game passed him by some 20 years ago.MrsPetersen said:Gilby looked tanned, rested and ready on Saturday.

So much perversion throughout with all the "fucks"...solid work! The Dooger would be proud!
I like Monan a lot. Loves to drink and seems like he's still ready to put on a helmet and go out and play. Definitely belongs here. -
I know you're being sarcastic, but he was UW's OC the last time we won a Rose Bowl.PurpleBaze said:

Maybe steve axeman or bob Simmons are up to the challenge?

Good chit, DJ, Mike, and Kyle
Keep the F bombs coming. -
Listening right now...I'm pretty sure only an ultimate Doog would use a Coog coach's audio for an intro.

Good podcast, guys. Lots of great discussion, thanks for taking the time.
The most pertinent part I took away from it was when Derek told the story of Don James hiring then HC Keith Gilbertson away from Idaho in '89. That hire catapulted the program to its greatest success, leading to three consecutive Rose Bowls (Winning the '91 and '92 RBs; Gilberston was not UW OC for the '93 RB loss), and a National Championship. Years later, Neu hired Gilby in '99 as OC and UW won the 2001 RB. He was not a successful HC, but he won three RBs as UW OC. Not many coaches can say that.
Chip Kelly to 0regon is another example of a program-changing OC hire, but maybe even more extreme: Belotti hired him away, program took a giant leap, he ended up with Belotti's job, and we all know the rest.
Where I'm going with this is these are prime examples that certain hires can change the trajectory of a program. If Petersen wants to right this ship quickly, he may need to pull a similar move, although I do not see him doing so. Time will tell. -

Yes, Tui mos def played a pivotal role during UW's last RB winning team. But Tui was the starter the three seasons prior to 2000 and never made it to the RB.PurpleBaze said:

Regardless, if you win three RBs as an OC, you can coordinate a fucking offense. Pretty sure Kyle Benn can attest to this, as he seemed to say as much in the podcast. -
I'mnot suggesting we fucking hire Keith Gilbertson right now, but I am saying the offense would look a lot different right now if he was the OC instead of Smiff.

Potayto. Potahto. -
Pinkel was OC in 90. Gilby came on a O line coach, his true calling. Same with Rick, he came as O Line coach. Dorrell was OC
-
Didn't Gilby take the cal job after 91? Did he coach the rosebowl that season? Did cal get any free pub?

Tui started in '99 and 2000. He only made a handful of starts when Brock Huard was hurt before '99.Joe Stephanson said:

Kyle hit on the major point of contention with Smith ... the lack of offensive identity.
At this point, how much of that falls on Smith or Petersen is up for debate.
If Smith survives the year as it is now almost impossible to conclude that he isn't in over his head, the shift moves almost entirely onto Petersen. -
That was a good listen.

What's the name of that intro song you use?
