Statistics show the estimated 11.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. account for 13.6 percent of all offenders sentenced for crimes committed in the U.S. Twelve percent of murder sentences, 20 percent of kidnapping sentences and 16 percent of drug trafficking sentences are meted out to illegal immigrants.

    Every thing is relative. Current stats are meaningless without being compared to prior stats.

    Obviously not all immigrants are criminals, but we ARE importing a shit ton of them. ICE just did a raid and rounded up over 100 with criminal records around San Diego.

    I doubt there are anywhere near enough feds to DO the job. I would also venture to guess the numbers of illegals is growing faster than law enforcement new hires, i.e. the problem is only going to get worse. But hey, we're all just part of a world community, right?
