I have to think Benning insisted on RS'ing, perhaps even when being recruited. By all accounts, Mr. Potato hates Sark and right or wrong, blames him for ruining Sione particularly for throwing him to the wolves when he wasn't ready. When Sark was coach, Benning and family would not consider UW.
Could be wrong and the staff thinks he'd benefit from a RS. But he passes the looks test and Ben Hurr Kirr is playing for fuck's sake. Sounds like a player decision to me.
