Special Teams an early indicator that Peterman getting through to the team

One game sample size this year but special teams play was obviously one of the highlights of last weekends game. Save the missed field goal. Not just the blocked kicks and TD return, but I don't recall seeing bad lane discipline on kicks and allowing gobs of yards on shitty returns which have plagued UW for seemingly time immemorial. Not looking at who the majority of ST players I would assume they are younger non-starters; mainly Peterman guys which would seem to indicate that the phase of the game where we see the most Peterman influence on the field is one of our key strengths. Perhaps this is an early indication that the more Sark players that are shed we should see equivalent improvements in production on offense and defense. I still expect this team to be better than last years and next year it should be a great team made good by having to deal with the residual fuckups of the old regime.

Well said. But why doesn't he give a shit about the offense and spend some time helping that out?

Classic confirmation bias

I guess we can only hope -
Get this optimistic shit off my doom and gloom bored!

Disagree. He had one shaky punt but the rest were ok.SpoogeDawg said:Is it too late to suddenly senior the punter? He sucked

The wind was really bad in that game, he had one punt that wasn't good.SpoogeDawg said:Is it too late to suddenly senior the punter? He sucked

Its a shame the offense is such an abortion, it really overshadows all the really good stuff that is going on. The special teams is now a positive, not a time when it was neglected and we held our breath. The defense was outstanding in the 2nd half, 60 yds given up. I have seen solid positive change in the program in those 2 areas. Its night and day from where it was.
But until the offense can even get to mediocre its not going to matter. -
Special teams were pretty good. Except for missing the crucial field goal kick and the punting. The offense is embarrassing so I don't really care.
-
Great small sample size, as always.
-
The punting was a ton of punts that should've landed inside the 20 that were touchbacks. So, great job Durkee you stupid fuck. Way to give Boise State 80-100 yards of field position by being a stupid ape.

I guess what I'm trying to say is; you have to remember that this is a young, young team.
-
Where the fuck do you think the offense would be after losing the best signal caller in college football (who since gave up calling plays)?BayDawg said:Its a shame the offense is such an abortion, it really overshadows all the really good stuff that is going on.

No options to watch the game in Guadalajara so ESPN game tracker was my source. Had no idea wind was an issue.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:

****Upgraded my cable last week and between Soccer, FIBA Basketball, cycling, auto racing and more fucking soccer I didn't get my first college game until Bowling Green at Tenn. which seemed like sports porn when it was broadcast in English. I know cool story brah -
The offense may be better, but I shutter to think what the rest of it would look like.
-
Well, thank god for that.

Sounds like a personal problem.SpoogeDawg said:
