A few positives in the midst of that dreck
2. Defense really turned it around after halftime. Very impressive performance after getting their shit pushed in all first half.
3. We play damn good special teams, missed FG aside. This is probably the thing I like the most about Petersen at this point.
4. Browning might be good one day. He sucks right now though. I think (hope) he'll improve significantly as the year goes on.
5. The team showed grit and fight.

They are still pussies, but they are a lot tougher than Sark's teams. They didn't fold and fought back to get in the game.

As I said a month ago, Dwayne Washington (and the rest of the running game) would be the deciding factor in this game. Our workhorse RB getting like 19 yards on 12 carries is the reason we lost, pure and simple.

Yeah I don't see that at all. Washington didn't do anything special, but the OL didn't open up much of anything for him or the other backs either. I agree with that, but I don't put the inability to run on Washington. He's a below average back, but he can run when he has a hole. The OL didn't produce more than one or two all night. So that's 5 bigger culprits right there. Then add Petersen and Smith and Mickens and the list is expanding pretty quickly. Maybe D Wash comes in #9 or 10, but no higher. And that depends on where you put Daniels, Browning, Durkee and Van Tinkle.BallSacked said:
