Garret Rand (2016, DT, Arizona)
Seems like UW is getting a good footing right now in Arizona. Sounds like UW has a real shot at this guy, and also N'Keal Harry (if he qualifies) and Chase Lucas (both of whom are visiting).
Those three players are all top 300 in the country.

If (And this is a big if, because he hates UW and is not coming here) Gilchrist commits to UW soon I expect this class to slow down for awhile. They'll be taking some shots at a lot of big time players going down the stretch.

Biggins and Huffman really like Rand. Harry is bigtime, I'll be surprised if he qualifies anywhere in the pac12 (beside ASU).
Lucas I've heard is 'meh', stock has been dropping. Doesn't really have an obvious position in scouts eyes. -

I doubt UW gets any of these kids, but I think they actually do have a good shot at Murphy from what I've seen. -

Unfortunately, In Eklund's latest recruiting blog, he's hearing that UW leads for Harry, Lucas, and Murphy.

I like all of these kids, but... can it be possible that a white kid from Arizona named Garret Rand will be a good DT? It just doesn't seem plausible.
If you asked me what I thought a fat white kid from AZ named Garret Rand was likely to be doing with his life I would say he's probably playing Call of Duty, beating off to chubby porn and working at Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Just saying.
