Lindquist is better but still not there. Very good runner, physical, good arm, and better accuracy but there was a play where he rolled to his left and bought a little time...he saw Perkins out kinda in the flat as a safety valve but true to Lindquist form, he threw it a little too hard for the relatively short distance between them and the ball bounced off of Perkins' hands (it was a little high but still catchable). My gut instinct was that in was Lindys' fault because the D had let Perkins go as the play went on and no defender was really around him so why throw it so hard?

I focused a lot on the OL, specifically on the OTs, and was pleasantly surprised. Shelton and James looked pretty good, not too much bend at the waist, and I don't recall either getting abused by Feeney, Mathis, or anyone else (though someone crushed Matt James on the interception reception return on the ball Mickens bounced into the air).

Blitz pick-ups seemed to go pretty well...I don't recall the DL stunting much but when the D did blitz, the OL and backs didn't let anyone run free (from what I saw).

Adams and McGary definitely look the part but IMHO, both need more time. I think Jaylen Johnson beat Adams on a play....JJ looks like he'll be pretty good in time.

I wasn't that impressed with the DL. I wasn't necessarily focusing on them but didn't really notice guys like Qualls, Mathis, and Tupou didn't stand out to me much. JJ and Dissly each made a play or two (maybe Mathis did as well).

Van Winkle looked a little shaky in FGs.

Guys stood out to me:

-Gaskin (the comparison to Sankey is a pretty good one)

-McClatcher (very nice speed and acceleration)

-Gardenhire (can't remember the 3 specific plays but remember thinking damn, he looks like a great bookend to Sidney Mutherfuckin' Jones).

-Renfro (despite a false start and a drop early in the practice, he bounced back with some good plays. Definitely looks the part at about 6'1" to 6'1 1/2" and at least 200 lbs, great for a true frosh).

-Pettis simply looks bigger and stronger. At first I didn't recognize him, he just looks like a different guy after Socha got his hands on him.

-Wooching. Feeney is a great fit for the Buck position due to his great length and it is nice to see Wooching show he can possibly spell Feeney or compliment him on some downs. I noticed Wooching make a play and then a few more plays were made and I thought, is that Wooching again?

-Quinten Pounds impressed me on a few plays. He's on the slight side but very quick. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays this year.

-Michael Neal already looks different than when he committed. He will undoubtedly redshirt but looks bigger, especially in his legs.

-If anyone wants to know about some formations I noticed, PM me. I don't think we're supposed to talk about specific X's and O's here but I saw a few things I liked (mostly on the O side of the ball).

TL;DR version : Huskies should at least beat the spread at BSU and there is a noticeable difference between Sloppy Steve's 2011-2013 recruits and CP's 2014-2015 recruits in terms of depth and overall talent.
