Pete's been raving about Kasen more than Smith from what I've seen/read. Is Smith finally back from injury? He was out most of last week.

I'm a few days behind on my Seahawks reports. Is Kasen making a move? The first few dsy I hadn't seen him mentioned, but saw Smith mentioned quite a few times.

Saw multiple reports that Kasen was one of the stars of the scrimmage Saturday - caught four balls (tied for most with Doug) including a deep ball. Yesterday caught a diving TD and had another catch.

Rob Rang moved him into his top 10 Seahawks rookies (at #10) but still said he has an uphill battle to even make the practice squad. I actually think he has a decent shot to make the roster, (he's working with four special teams units - covering punts and punt return, coverings kicks and kick return), especially since they seem to have moved McNeill to CB.

Lockett, Baldwin, and Kearse are locks. Matthews probably makes the team. Last two spots until Richardson comes back go to a combo of Norwood, Lockette and Kasen. Lockette probably makes it for his punt coverage abilities, meaning Kasen has to beat out Norwood for a spot. Money's on Norwood at this poont but Kasen has a real chance. At the very least I think he's a lock for the practice squad if no one else picks him up for the 53.

Smith hasn't practiced in a number of days, was making noise before getting banged up. Seems destined to be cut, could make the practice squad if loser of Kasen/Norwood doesn't.

Good news for Kasen is if he gets cut another team will pick him up and he'll have a better chance to make that roster.

Doog comment but it will be cool to see Kearse, Kasen and Smith all playing together, even if its just a preseason game.

I was like, 'that's not too doog-y, that's fine I would too...' And then you had to ruin it.

Why would Kasen have a better chance at a another roster when all I hear is Seattle has the worst WRs in the league?

It would be cool if the entire Seahawks roster was made up of Huskie alums.
