Harbaugh and Cowherd Get Into it on the Air

(Yes, Bleacher Report is my source)
Also, listen carefully for when Cowherd tries to lump Sark in with Meyer, Harbaugh, and Saban in his group of great coaches.
CowherdFS deserves it, go Jim.

That interview is painfully awkward and awesome!
-
Harbaugh is so fucking weird.

"Presented by Progressive"

Harbaugh was ridiculous on that interview
-
More Harvbaugh Road, Less Dunthorpe
-
True, but Cowherd is a douche. Anything that messes up one of his segments is fine by me.Tequilla said:Harbaugh was ridiculous on that interview

Cowherd may be ... but there was nothing wrong with what Cowherd did on the interview. He was on point, asked solid leading questions to try to get Harbaugh to open up and have a very solid promotional moment on the air.
That interview was at minimum 81% Harbaugh's fault. -
Not quite Beast Mode weird...but close.BallSacked said:Harbaugh is so fucking weird.

I watched 2:30. That was enough.
-
The Harroad obsession continues
-
That interview was definitely HARD ...
-
Not a guy who I'd want to have a beer with. He has shown he's a heck of a football coach, but that is one awkward asshole.
-
Until Cowherd calls Harbaugh "Chrissy", he's just a poser.
-
Disagree completely. Who wouldn't want to spend a day with Marshawn? I wouldn't want to spend five seconds with Harvbaugh.HuskyJW said:

One thing that wasn't discussed in the Harbaugh/Petersen thread is that Harbaugh is becoming more and more unhinged. He seems quite a bit different now than five years ago.
-
If Harbaugh pulled a Woody Hayes on the sideline, I can't say that I'd be that surprised at this point.RoadDawg55 said:One thing that wasn't discussed in the Harbaugh/Petersen thread is that Harbaugh is becoming more and more unhinged. He seems quite a bit different now than five years ago.

Disagree, he's just way more in the public eye. I remember in 2007 or 2008 he absolutely was flipping out on the sidelines in an ND-Stanford game, and then afterwards at the press conference kept switching between spaced out, 1 word answers and complete red face rage when talking about the referees.RoadDawg55 said:One thing that wasn't discussed in the Harbaugh/Petersen thread is that Harbaugh is becoming more and more unhinged. Always hilariously unhinged. -
Sounded like Harbaugh took lessons from little jimmy and had a few quaaludes before going on air.
Roads point is noted and 1 of the reasons I chose petersen over Harbaugh on the other pole. The early years his intensity was much more "rah rah", but now it's a little more Stanley Kubrick.
Wouldn't shock me to know he was taking the interview with the phone pinched to his shoulder to free up his hands for skinning a cat. The call wasn't his main focus. -

And that's why I enjoy listening to Cowherd. He isn't afraid to express his opinion, even when it's FS. He isn't going to be polite and PC and all friendly like all the other interviewers. In fact, he was the one who called Harbaugh out on his bullshit today.RaccoonHarry said:

He's better than most out there because he isn't afraid to disagree with people. I don't care if he has shit opinions, he's willing to disagree with you and argue about that, and that's why I enjoy listening to Cowherd. -
He thinks Sarkisian is a great coach.

I think he is completely PC. All of ESPN is. They are part of the don't offend anyone culture and they suspend anyone who does. There is a definite company line on politics and social issues and he follows it.whatshouldicareabout said:

Untrue. He thinks Sarkisian was a great salesman of his program. At least that's what I got out of the clip.Gladstone said:He thinks Sarkisian is a great coach.

True, it's not like Cowherd is actively seeking unemployment with his comments, but he's more offensive and edgy than just about everyone else at ESPN. And that really says a lot about ESPN.RaceBannon said:

So then there's this:
I love that other responses to this interview were that Cowherd was purposefully trying to make Michigan look bad. With his comparing Harbaugh to Sark, I think they might have a point. -
I'm living in the bay area now and while doing interviews for the local rock station, that is how Hardbaugh always was with what he called, "chuckles the clown" shows. If you didn't asked direct football questions and want to know how he felt and what is day was about, you wouldn't get much.
-
So, Cowherd is an Ohio State troll trying to make Michigan & Harbaugh look bad?whatshouldicareabout said:So then there's this:

Anyway, I managed to reach the 4:37 mark. Couldn't take any more of this steamer. -
Harbaugh should be a regular on his show, troll troll troll!

All this on air talk has me wondering when the next podcast is coming. @RoadDawg55? @HeretoBeatmyChest? @jecornel?
If little jimmy is in rehab and needs a sub I'm here to help. Otherwise I might have to start posting my own drunken podcast. Maybe @Swaye would be interested. "The Blackout Hardcore Podcast"
