Lamar Winston: "UW in my final 4"

On June 10 @LamarWinstonJr tweeted that his final 4 are:
Oregon
Stanford
UCLA
UW
After The Opening, he indicated that he's leaning toward OLB more than ATH...so that may be a hint, if a school is focused on sticking him there, then he's all in. He also hinted that he's thinking about family and getting tix, so maybe local is big. He says that UW's staff is the one he first bonded with and that Gregory has visited him at Central Catholic more than anyone else.

This makes me curious how many LBs we're trying to take in this class when we picked up 5 last year, especially if Wellington is being recruited for OLB, and if we get Eifler, too. Of course, some of those 5 from last year are being placed in the MLB spot, but it seems we're recruiting the position heavily this cycle.
Oregon received a commitment from an OLB today, so that might speed up the process with Winston if he is, as many suspect, an Oregon lean, but he was recently offered by Stanford, and I never blame a kid for taking a Stanford offer. It's encouraging to hear Gregory has visited him more than anyone else, but I do think we're on the outside looking in with him. -
Not getting Winston. Quoted last weekend saying that UW was 4th of his top 4. Will be Oregon or Stanford.

Yeah. I think he's Stanford bound. Said "UW is in the back, but I'm open to everyone".

Yeah, he actually had a top three the day he was going to announce, UW was not in it. Then Lars talked to him and he added UW.
I personally think UW is done with LB'er for this class and stopped recruiting Winston a few weeks back as they have gotten their three for this class

We have three LB'er commits for this class right now, imo, and won't be taking anymore.
