Our dline is a major concern. We saw it rushing 4 vs Boise st. BSU has a good offensive line. Maybe this weekend we'll get a better picture of our Dline.

since about 2001 when the UW started recruiting and by all appearances giving preferential treatment to anybody with an unpronouncable name from anywhere near the Confederated States of Micronesia, Guam, and other other areas that we beat the japanese over in WWII there has been NO PASS RUSH. What needs to happen is more recuiting from high schools in places like Watts and the south side of Chicago. then there will be some mean guys who can put some pressure on the QB!

It was a statement not a question.

Look man, I'm just saying not to give the appearance of preferential treatment to any class of persons.

and you account for the total lack of a pass rush for more than the last ten years how? -- given the obvious tendencies in recruiting???

Look man, I'm just saying not to give the appearance of preferential treatment to any class of persons.

Where do you get the idea of any such "appearance". I've never once thought "they're recruiting that kid because he's a Poly". Hell, some of our best DL in recent years have been lightly recruited Polys like Jamora and Teo Nesheim.

Please to be listing which kids we "appeared" to give preferential Poly treatment to.

and you account for the total lack of a pass rush for more than the last ten years how? -- given the obvious tendencies in recruiting???

    Coaching deficiencies, obviously.

Polys are far and away the most likely racial group to reach the NFL. If UW's Poly's are underachieving, it's not because UW's recruiting Poly's, it's because UW is either a) recruiting the wrong Poly's b) not developing said Poly's c) employing defensive schemes that do not take advantage of the talents of said Polys.

All three of those are coaching issues, not ethnic issues.

Also, I don't see evidence that any other race/ethnicity of DL has been particularly effective at UW in recent years. Whites have Greyson Gunheim and maybe Jordan Reffett while African Americans have Ceasar Rayford. But crackers also have Dan Milsten, Walt Winter, Cameron Elisera, Nick Wood, and Conner Cree. Blacks have Stanley Daniels, Robert Lewis, Jasper Henry, Erick Lobos, Tyrone Davis, De'Shon Matthews, Craig Noble, Damion Turpin,

And of course Jordan White Frisbee never amounted to much, and I'm pretty sure blacks and whites both get credit for him.

The bust rate on the DL has been exceptionally high for a very long time, across all races.

    Polys aren't the problem.
