Any guesses on mvp? It's a 3 man race between Iguodala, Curry and LBJ.

    It's Iggy. He deserves it.

I've loved Iggy's game since his frosh year at Zona, and he played his tail off this series, but if Curry had drawn the same defensive attention Igoudala did he would have averaged 60.

Curry was easily the most valuable player on the winning team.

But at the same time Curry didn't have to play defense at all in this series except for game 1 when Irving played. Iguodala had to defend LeBron for most the series.

And if you compare Curry's regular season stats to his finals stats, they're down. Iguodala played his best basketball of the year in the finals.

IMO Iguodala had the biggest imprint on this series for the Warriors - a very worthy selection

And for those that like to say that I'm not dialed in, I had Iguodala as MVP after Game 4 ... but then again, I'm never dialed in.

To be fair, you apparently have as much NBA knowledge as 7 of the 11 MVP voters.

His shooting percentages and assists were down. Then again:

    Regular season Curry 23.8 ppg
    Finals Curry 26.0 ppg

    Regular season Curry 4.3 rpg
    Finals Curry 5.2 rpg

And who cares if he played better during the regular season? The Finals MVP goes to the player who was the most valuable in the finals, not the players whose stats increased the most from the regular season in the finals.

Curry was the most valuable player in the series for the Warriors. Take Igoudala off the Warrios and the series is a coinflip. Take Curry off the Warriors and the Cavs win in 5.

    Simple fact.
