The Warriors might not lose two games the rest of the way.

They look unbeatable
But
Like we say about Oregon, they always look unbeatable until they get beat. James doesn't get any excuses - he has to win with who he has. I felt as long as someone else beat the Spurs the Cavs have what it takes that no one else has. LBJ -
Maybe at full strength they had what it took to beat the Warriors but Kevin Love is out, Kyrie was gimpy as fuck that entire series vs Chicago. And I think the Warriors have enough bodies to throw at Lebron (Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Livingston, Draymond if he goes to the post) to take that series, rather easily say 4-1?RaceBannon said:

Plus if you are counting on Lebron to rise up and single-handedly win a series, you might be a fucktard.

Disagree. The Cavs will beat them twice on their own.RoadDawg55 said:The Warriors might not lose two games the rest of the way.
I agree Golden State's the team to beat though. -
The Cavs won't be able to guard them. Unless Kyrie Irving play like he did mid season, it's all over. With Love and a healthy Irving, it would be a great series. As it is... Fagetaboutit.dnc said:

I said no excuses Ballbag. As soon as Cleveland is out Lebron sucks and is a loser. Chris Paul and all the rest of the never been to the Finals flavors of the week get a pass.BallSacked said:

Full strength or half strength Cleveland wins. Thompson will coog it and the collar will get tight on Curry. James will shut him down come the 4th quarter like he did the fully healthy MVP Rose when the Bulls were in the conference finals.
The Cleveland white guys will come through. -
It's a pretty lame final four. Talent wise, probably the lowest we've seen in years, maybe decades.
The only real powerhouse ATM is GS. Houston is lucky to have made it this far, and I personally think they are a weaker team than all the teams in the west who made the playoffs except for NOP, DAL, and POR. GS should handle them easily, I'd say GS in 5.
ATL is completely ovverated. They're a team that's built for the regular season, and not the playoffs. They got taken to 6 games by an awful Brooklyn team, and got taken to 6 games by a Washington team that ended the season playing very poorly, not to mention they were without Wall for half the series, and the other half he was playing with a broken hand. -

Injuries have been a major problem in the NBA the past few years. OKC PDX and Miami I think all would have been final four possibilities if fully healthy this year. All are better than Hou and/or ATL at full strength.NeedleInTheSky88 said:It's a pretty lame final four. Talent wise, probably the lowest we've seen in years, maybe decades.

The 82 game seasons with private 21st century charter flights and soft NBA rules take a much bigger toll than the 82 game seasons of 20 years ago.BallSacked said:

I think it's just random but there are a lot of injuries that have cratered a few seasons. KD is made of sticks. Bosh had that weird sickle cell thing (is that racist crap?). Olyenk went WWE on Love.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Injuries happen - go look at the 87 playoffs and watch McHale play with his broken foot. Biggest difference between then/now is that McHale was "stupid" enough to play on it when most players today won't do that.

It does because guys actually have to play defense now.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Defense in the 90's was significantly better. Technically, 20 years ago = 1995.

How about this. Nobody played defense in the 80s. And defense is harder now than it was in the 90s. Just because of the rules and the way players and offenses have evolved. The ball movement and amount of good shooters now means constant running and sprinting to close out. Constant rotations.dnc said:

I feel like Houston played the perfect game and still lost. I thought GS played average at best today, especially for a home game. And I'm aware that Howard was out for most the game, they were probably better off without that loser anyways. It wasn't a random coincidence that GS went on that huge run at the end of the first half when Howard was in the game. Anyone else see Howard getting punked by 6'8 Draymond Green? Loser couldn't even post up a guy half his size.
