You should hear Clipper talk. This thing is OVER.
Makes me think Houston can steal this -
Script says Clips win this one rather easily, say 34-17, then get cocky and lose the west to a better finesse team in GState or a power team in Memphis.
Mark Madsen's GOAT championship dance remains safe from the threat of the Ballmer. -
Books likes Clippers to close it out. Rockets were -8/-8.5 in the first couple games with no Cp3, now Rockets are 3 point underdogs with Cp3. And no, Cp3 is not worth 11 points, books just think Rockets suck.
-
Clippers not for real.
-
-
lmao
-
Not surprised. Houston was the more desperate team and playing at home. Clipps will prevail in a close, hard fought game 6.
-
Clips lack the killer distincts.
Not Pat Hill tuff of mind. -
Fuck Steve Ballmer and his refusal to write a big ass check for the Kings.
Fuck Steve Ballmer for not ponying up to Howard Schultze and keeping the Sonics out of Clay Bennett's hands.
Fuck Steve Ballmer for the travesty of Lakeside basketball/affirmative action shenanigans.
Just fuck Steve Ballmer for anything associated with him and basketball.
-
Both teams do, it's a slap fight.salemcoog said:Clips lack the killer distincts.

Could have crisped it by saying fuck Steve BallmerPurpleThrobber said:Fuck Steve Ballmer and his refusal to write a big ass check for the Kings.

It's going to be fun to watch Steve Ballmer in his 70's and 80's provided he doesn't have a heart attack before then.
I hope the Clippers lose tomorrow just to watch and hear Clippers fans panic. I hate the Rockets too, but I get more joy out of the Clippers losing. -
Clippers should close it out tonight. I think Houston will keep it close for as long as they can, but they aren't mentally strong enough to hold up all 48 minutes. Once LAC hits them with a big blow, they will likely fold because their entire team is filled with losers (with an exception to JTerry, Ariza and Brewer).
-
So you are saying Ballmer may be a good candidate in the Death Pool?RoadDawg55 said:It's going to be fun to watch Steve Ballmer in his 70's and 80's provided he doesn't have a heart attack before then.

Lol. Fucking Clippers. So I left my house at the end of the 3rd quarter. I almost didn't record the rest of the game. I figured it was over but then I thought well it is the Clippers.
I can't help but think of the last Lakers Celtics Finals. In one of the games the Lakers were down big in the fourth quarter. They did that stupid ass sideline sound where the coach never says anything. Except this time they played Phil telling his team that no team had blown more big 4th quarter leads than the Celtics that season. And sure enough the broadcast had a stat to back that up.
That always stuck with me for some reason. The Lakers didn't come back to win that game. But I never forgot that. That team had good Rondo, Ray Allen, Series, KG and Perkins before he was terrible. How the hell was that stat real? Now part of it is you have to be good enough to get a bunch of 10 point leads but how was team blowing so many games?
I thought about all of this during the fourth quarter of the game. And I realized, oh, that's why. -

Chris Paul is great
Never won shit -
Fuck Ballmer.

I don't understand how the Clippers couldn't score. Josh Smith was hitting lucky shots, but the Clippers offense was inexcusable.
Sometimes they are unstoppable. Chris Paul has an almost unguardable step back jumper. Blake Griffin has been one of the best players if not the best player of the playoffs. And yet they couldn't even get a good look for multiple minutes. -
They weren't spacing well and they didnt go to Griffin enough. I think they went to him twice and he had 2 layup like shots that unluckily just rolled off.RoadDawg55 said:I don't understand how the Clippers couldn't score. Also what the hell was Doc Rivers doing having Griffin on the bench for a few minutes to start the 4th quarter. Yeah they were up by 13 but Rockets quickly closed the gap from 19 to 10 before the end of the third.
Another thing is with Paul not having the same burst they should have had little Rivers penetrate more. He has proven he can get to the basket and finish.
Hack-a-Howard should have also been employed more. Houston could not miss a fucking shot. Why not see if you can stop the momentum. By the time Doc did it they were within 4 points. Too late.
Clippers collapse last playoffs was bad but this was historic. -
I have to admit, watching a Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan free throw contest would have been funny as hell.HeretoBeatmyChest said:
