The Mariners sucked then just like they suck now, but back in the late 90's and early 2000's it was a blast (get it?) watching roided up Boone/Arod and others lead the league in team home runs.

They won two games in an ALCS twenty years ago. Our fond memories of that era of Mariners is like Oregon replaying The Pick every game while they are in the hunt for another Rose Bowl appearance. Loser mentality. The Seahawks eclipsed 40+ years of Mariner achievements in one half a single season. Fuck those loser mariners and their culture of irrelevance.

Amen spoonie. And the "boonie", "ichie" nicknames, basically an 'ie' after eveyones name, made me wanna barf. And the threads at dawgman took over the front page back then

Edgar and RJ were the only Mariners ever worth a shit. Pretty much everyone else folded at crucial moments.

I just want to mention Bruce Bochte here for no other reason than I liked him when I was a kid and feel like I may never again have the chance to talk about him in my life.

I find it hilarious that a bunch of half brain inbreds feel entitled enough to talk shit about a professional team that represented the area.

If you don't think having griffey in the 90s was exciting, go kill yourself.
