If people choose to go to church, that's their choice. I may have misjudged you. Anyone who makes a journey to seek out fish and nature can't be all bad.

Intolerant assholes have never bothered me because I don't give a fuck what they think. Ignorant assholes bother me daily because they jam me up at work, on the road, or if I stop at the store for beer or liquor.

You've probably already done it, but if you haven't you should make a trek to the Salida / Bueno Vista area in the Rockies.

It's become very commercialized since my dad use to take me there in the 80's ... but it still rivals the Wenatchee Valley / Leavenworth / Entiat areas for fishing and getting away from it all.

If you want to do lake fishing, which I don't really care for, but it is more suited for my kids, there are lots of natural lakes. June is great as the snow melts.
