He's been living off his 2012 pro bowl season reputation. Injuries have caught up to him in a bad way. When he was actually playing, he was always playing hurt. I remember in the games he did play in 2013, he had a torn pectoral and was getting tossed around by DT's like a ragdoll.
His impact this year was overstated. The games he played in happened to coincide with playing the worst run defenses on the schedule. -

The northwest probably felt like home to him and he was part of a team that will have a chance to win multiple SB's. Now he's going to a completely different area to play for a team and organization on the decline. I'd be bummed too.
