I think it is better to let a kid take his trips and know that he wants to commit to your school rather than demand a committment early if that isn't what the kid wants to do. YMMV.

Arizona already has 24 commits. Though most are 3* with a few 4* and a handful of JC 2*.

Have you seen stanford's list of verbal commits? I suggest you sit down before doing so. Pretty damn impressive.

If I know Kim, and sadly I do, he is over on Doogfarm preaching patience and saying how early it is...hold on for a wild ride...calm before the storm...we are in on secret verbals from Tibet nobody has even heard of...it's a slow season now, but you just wait until Jan...etc...
All you have to say is "awfully warm for February" which is their go to line when recruiting isn't going well.

Now if UW had signed a bunch of kids they'd tell you that if a kid commits this early he never decommits.

Who was the 'tard I got into that over there after the St. Tosh Day Massacre or whatever they called it? I threw that back "awfully warm line" back to him and he goes on and on about how early commits rarely decommit. Of course, I provided him with examples where early recruits have changed their minds, and like clock work, some of them decommited. How many, 3 or 4?

    Everybody says so:

Its funny how all the dogs went nuts about that Tosh Day Massacre crap and 4 of the kids who committed didn't end up at UW (including the 2 best ones)
