The Huskies find a way to lose. The season is declared to be over. We discuss replacements.
The Huskies beat Syracuse then get killed by Nebraska as Heisman candidate Lockner throws for 12 yards.
We beat USC!!!1111!!!! (we?)
They lose 4 out of 5 with the annual 3 game losing streak.
Sark is toast excpet we know he really wasn't.
They beat three shitty teams (Hi Ballsacked, Hi beetlebutt, Hi Bearswiin)
They win the epic Holiday Bowl classic over Nebraska. I back track and say Sark may have turned it around. Most say fuck off Race.
They open 2011 with the easy teams up front and the momentum is building. Then they crash as always against the good teams.
Three years and beyond any doubt you need to fire his ass. Except he gets two more years before Haden saves us.
The moral of this story?
Petermen better beat Boise at Stater Brothers Stadium or the season is over and he will end up deserving to be fired.
We were right. We always are.

That was the closest we came to full blown HHB civil war. Only another off-season natty kept us from storming iDawg's basement and tearing down the podcast equipment. -
Ah 2010. Definitely my doogiest year. Locker coming back, end of year blowout wins.
Almost - almost - went to Provo to watch locker kick off his heisman campaign. Lucky I dodged that bullet.
The funniest part is that after the loss, the UW kept up it's locker campaign. I remember they were sending cards with his stats (which looked fine on paper) after the byu and Syracuse games.
Fucking Nebraska* put an end to that nonsense. Don't recall any stat cards after that.
*1st game ive ever left at halftime. -
Actually, let me revise that. My doogiest moment came after the Nebraska game when Hugh broke down each locker pass to show that he actually was an amazing quarterback and the receivers, wind, God?, all conspired for his historically horrific completion %.
I caught myself wanting to believe, trying to convince myself that hugh was right. But deep down I knew.
Dark days. -
Wow. So if he losses to @BSU to open the season you are D.A.O. on CCP? Am I twisting? I think that is kind of harsh for a coach of Petersons record, but whatever.
I think UW is probably a 3 or 4 pt underdog in that game. This place will be interesting if they lose, or it won't, either way...

The only caveat that I have to what Race said is that I need to see the QB position.
I generally agree with the notion that you can without great QB play ... but to do so you need to have a strong running game and good defense. I don't see reason to expect us to have a dominant running game or a dominant defense (although I could be surprised).
To get to the 8+ win range for 2015 UW needs far better QB play than what they received in 2014. -
I'm sticking to my guns and giving him a full second season before I give up on Peterman.
Then again I can see myself already posting in the game thread for him to be fired at halftime of the Boise State game if we are down by more than 10 points.

Agree totally.... But we aren't beating Boise.RaceBannon said:Sark opens his second season on the road at BYU. The podcast of record proclaims that if Sark can't beat BYU with an entire off season to prepare the season is over and he is the wrong coach for the job.
