Really doubt Lavine was coming here. My cousin went to school with him since Jr. High and said he's always been a huge UCLA fan. Think it traces back to his dad.dnc said:

This is the embarrassing part of recruiting and subsequent sites like scout. People get all up in arms when a guy goes away from the "home" school, completing omitting the part where the kid doesn't want to go to UW. Josh smith was another perfect example. Sometimes a coach should make a decision that they are chasing an unwinnable situation, and from everything ever posted on lavine he was not going to UW. This is why CP hates recruiting sites so much. Talent eval is only have the process, the other half is knowing whether your school stands a chance.uw2010 said:

UW is a favorite of many of us(obviously), just b/c a kid resides in WA doesn't mean he should have the same love. UCLA would be a pretty great school to attend and be an athlete.
Of the list of things romar does shitty, not getting a few local kids is not even in the top 10
