BOOM - Vernon Adams To Oregon

Looks like the #OffSeasonNatty is changing hands.
-
He is already cramping up after typing out that announcement!!!11
Good get, should be interesting to see how he does in that offense. -
As usually, o/u 5 games until VA is cut in half and AZQuook makes another "Doogasm in full effect, I see" post.
-
I'm surprised you're surprised
-
Vernon will have a front row seat for the regression.
-
Ducks relying on D-1AA players I see

Best part is, this poast is completely accurate because UO probably still beats UW and the Cuogs without Adams, and probably finishes with better overall record as well.Cuogar_Gold said:As usually, o/u 5 games until VA is cut in half and AZQuook makes another "Doogasm in full effect, I see" post.
"Beat Oregon, nothing else matters"
Yup. -
PUMP MY GAS, ADAMS!!1!
-
He'll finally get his Husky Stadium win.

Just in case there were any lingering doubts that school down south is committed to winning. No rebuilding years, flat out winning.

He thanked God? Little Jimmy??!!! True??!!!

Looks like @TTJ was right. DangerRuss Adams.RaceBannon said:He thanked God? Little Jimmy??!!! True??!!!

1) Lockie and Morgan M. must suck (or...wait for it...need more time).
2) It could be a win-win for both VA and Oregon or something happens to VA during season (he missed 4 games with injury last year and is prone to cramping) but Oregon at least has those games to give their other QBs more in-season development.
3) It would suck big wang for VA to not win the job but he must have felt he needed to take a step up to get more attention from NFL scouts.
4) UCLA must have gotten involved too late since he's from Pasadena and they return everyone except their previous starting QB.
5) More than anything, this helps Oregon because they get more competition at the QB spot and if VA gets hurt, they'll simply turn to the other QBs they had on the roster before VA joined them.
6) It will be interesting to see how Oregon's offense changes and regardless, it should be easier to defend than Mariota running it. Even on the read-option, scrape exchanges should be more successful since an OLB attacking Mariota was mostly futile since Mariota was 6'4" 215 lbs with 4.4 wheels while Adams is 5'11", a buck ninety, and more like a 4.5 or 4.6 guy.
7) At least point, it's still hard not to see Oregon favored by double digits @ Husky Stadium in 2015 (even accounting for a 4 point boost due to Husky Stadium noise / playing on the road).

The Ducks haven't really had God on their side since J Stewart followed the divine path to pewgene (lol).
I'm curious to see how they use him. I don't think he'll be a real effective runner...at least not for very long. -
Looks like Stanford vs USC in pac12 title game. Sark finally gets a pac12 title.

I am not sure how hard UCLA went after VA either. One thing I think is an impact, I don't believe VA graduates until after spring quarter form EWU. So he wont get to participate in Spring Ball wherever he went and will only have a Summer/Fall to win the job.
At oregon - I get the feeling Mahalak and the other mop up guy aren't starter quality, while Josh Rosen at UCLA is the most hyped athlete UCLA has signed since Kevin Love and would likely get the lion share of snaps in Spring (yes RD55 I am aware of your talking point on HS QBs). VA wants to play, I think it's an easier path at Oregon. He's arguably a better fit in the Oregon offense as well. -
I can now safely rule USC and Stanford out of the running. Any more sure fire picks I can go against, would help dearly on the NBA board when playoff season rolls around.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Looks like Stanford vs USC in pac12 title game. Sark finally gets a pac12 title.

Stanford - Agree. I think this is their last year of high level play.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Looks like Stanford vs USC in pac12 title game. Sark finally gets a pac12 title.
SC - Nope. Their front 7 is weak and will feature lots of true frosh, this is the weakest set of skill players they've had in awhile, their OL is still largely 2nd year players w/ Bob Connelly now coaching them, and Sark will Sark. 8-4. Put that in your meds and smoke it.

Can't wait until he has a bad game so I can say "God didn't help you there!"
That will show his make believe deity. -
And the 0s open against EWU....all my children type shit.

U do realize Adams performed against the drek of the PAC 12 dont u Duck?! Funny to see the quacks get all excited about this. Just like Petersen, he can beat an FBS team once a year.
-
Vernon Adams is absolutely fantastic and anyone that says different or makes fun of his accomplishments is 100% Doog.
Guy can play and was the best QB in Husky Stadium in years. -

First off, I want to thank
Uncle PhilGod for this amazing opportunity. I want to thank all of… -
You're right. How will backing him up with top-tier D1 talent on the outside, and arguably the best backfield in the Pac 12 going to elevate his game? Oregon's screwed.beelzebub said:U do realize Adams performed against the drek of the PAC 12 dont u Duck?! Funny to see the quacks get all excited about this. Adams is basically trading in his Taurus for a Mercedes S-class
