Recruiting matters water is wet
Rankings matter at the top end though they still have to be developed and Urban can do that as good as anyone. A good eye and development matter just below the top end and Oregon does that better than anyone. Now they recruit the top end as well.
Get to work Petermen. This isn't the MWC

Peterman would have killed to get the talent he's recruited to UW at BSU... now, if he could only do something about that schedule.

Put yourself in the shoes of a black man who is in Styx and the question answers itself.sarktastic said:

Oregon's recruiting accelerated with Chip. It was particularly strong in the 2011-2013 classes with 11-14 being the strongest 4 year stretch. But it has dipped very slightly. I'd expect because of the NC game the current 3.32 gets a bump. Will be very interesting next season to see if Helfrich can be at the 3.4-3.5 level or if he stays below 3.4. Before Oregon fans get butt hurt again (hi @AZDuck) this shit has a lag with on the field performance.

Thus far recruiting has been one of Helfrich's strengths, but yeah, we'll see

This. On the whole Oregon doesn't light the world on fire with TBS rankings, because most people would rather not move far away from home to live in Oregon. The one caveat I'll give them is they do a great job with scouting for undervalued players that fit their system. Masoli, Mariota, LaMichael James, Barner, I think Charles Nelson as well. Those guys were all 3 stars or worse, but were the core of their revival post Belotti.HeretoBeatmyChest said:Oregon's recruiting accelerated with Chip.
