As much as I am not a miley lover, smith is just as much to blame for WR's not seeing the ball. Pull the qb if he can't make passes, use the skills your qb does have to get your wr's the ball, or get the fuck out of town.

What's funny in a poke you eye out with a fork kind of way is that despite Neu and Sark being legends for recruiting billions of wideouts we never seem to have any worth a shit. And both were well known as great recruiters.

It's a loss but not a huge loss...I'm sure he was a nice kid but players like him are a dime a dozen.

Rosters all across college football are littered with Kendyl Taylor's.

I wanted him and I think he's a decent player, but I agree. It's not that big of deal.

Gonna drop some insider knowledge. I knew it weeks ago, but couldn't poast here.

Just talked to one of Kendyl's family friends. Says KT (I call him that, means we tight) didn't like Pete. Says alot of the team doesn't like Pete. I pointed out it seemed like Danny Shelton seemed to like Pete. Was told Danny Shelton ain't no Steve Empterman (told this by an ex player no less)

I said it seemed like alot of Sark guys were pussies and Pete was too tough for them. There really wasn't a response to that. Kendyl seemed like a nice enough kid, and knew the only way he was going to get to the "league" (that's what we call the NFL) was to get 100 catches and that wasn't going to happen here. So NAU, and 100 catches, here they come.

So yeah, in a way, Miley chased him away. If Miley would have gotten him the ball 100 times, he'd still be here.

Smart move. A player looks better to scouts putting up big numbers at the FCS level than putting up pedestrian ones at the BCS level.

And even if Miley was good, Taylor was still a 4th or 5th option. He wouldn't put up big numbers regardless of who was playing QB.

Taylor had plenty of time to show his value. Sark saw so much value in him that he played him as a true freshman out of desperation and redshirted him his sophomore year. CP saw so much value in him that he was buried in the depth chart.

CP has said it numerous times. Players earn their playing time in practice. I subscribe to that approach. Taylor obviously did not do what he needed to do in practice to earn meaningful playing time. And if a kid can't earn meaningful playing time in his 3rd year in the program, perhaps the NFL is not a realistic goal.
