  I imagine Sark's conversation with Coz after he took the USC job was similar to Michael Corleone's last conversation with Abe Vigota's character in the Godfather.

  Supposedly Sark never told the D staff they were fired. They just heard it through the media. Because Joel Thomas was close with Holt (both Idaho guys), he left ASAP following that incident.
