and the 32% who voted yes should be dumped in the bottom of the Duwamish with cement shoes.

I don't think he's a hall of famer but its not that crazy.

Top 100 all time in steals and assists.

    60th in points scored.

    All NBA 7 times.

    2 scoring titles.

And most impressively 28th all time in PER and 12th all time in usage.

The lack of playoff wins and injuries should keep him out but he was a great player in his prime.

In basketball, win playoff games or get the fuck out.

Iverson at least led a shitty team to the finals, won an MVP and has some 1st team all-NBA on his resume.

Iverson would get in based on the Tyronn Lue stomp alone.

And T-Mac was first team all NBA twice.

My all-nba comment was more of a jab at Melo.

I'd put Dominique Wilkins, Melo and McGrady all in the same tier to be honest.

I'd actually take T-Mac in a millisecond over those two if health was equal. But it is a fair comparison.

T Mac in his prime before the back injuries might have been better than Kobe. Kobe was probably better, but I remember it being a debate back in 2002 or 2003. He was nice when he played for Orlando.

    Disagree.

Kobe by then already had 3 rings. Yes I know everyone argues about how he had Shaq which is true, but he ended up winning 2 more (But he had Pao!!!11!!).

Stats are only a piece of the puzzle. Kobe had the stats and winning accolades already back then.

Just because people debated it doesn't mean it was an actual debate. Once upon a time people debated James Atoe's first round potential as well.

T Mac was very good, perhaps hall worthy. He was never in Kobe's class.

Are we talking actual people or mouthbreathing morons like Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless?

I find calling Stephen A Smith a "mouthbreather" is extremely racist. Are you suggesting he is taking all the white man's air?

Also Skip Bayless is better at life than you.

    HTH.

Kobe obviously has had a better career, and was probably a little better from 2001 to 2004, but it was not by a large margin. I don't think it was all that crazy of a debate for a few years. McGrady was really, really good when he was on the Magic. If not for all the injury issues, he would be a sure fire Hall of Famer.

In related news, Sark would have been 9-4 or 10-3 last year without all the OL injuries.

I will remember to post "who cares" on all your government conspiracy posts you seem to be fond of. It's a harmless basketball post, get the fuck over it.
