Damn, who did Oceanside's kicker sign with? He hit a 41 yarder like it was an extra point
-
Although it says off air, the game is on comcast sports net
-
What are the chances Jack Browner redshirts? Does he move up to #2 QB during spring ball?
-
First time watching Browning sans Hudl. He is vastly more talented than any other QB on UW's roster.LaZoris said:What are the chances Jack Browner redshirts? Does he move up to #2 QB during spring ball?
How does he adapt to a faster game in college? Who knows, but his potential is unbelievable.
-
Did we win yet?
-
I thought it was all about arm strength, speed, etc. And he didn't compete in the summer circuit. Warning flags.....BlowItUp said:
Biggins is a bit wrapped up in the TBS crap. Browning is a compete QB.
The good news is that the recruiting idiot don't recruit. I'm pretty sure Pete knows what he's doing. -
When he ends up starting i'm going to beat my chest.

...and DeYoung is going to scream RACISM. After all, Williams is clearly the better talent,Doogles said:When he ends up starting i'm going to beat my chest.

It's all white privilege, right?!?

Browning seems indifferent at times. Not great with the media. It's wait and see right now.

How did Jordan Miller look, the CB commit from Oceanside?
-
I didn't watch, but I'm hoping all 800 of Jack's yards were to the other sidewhatshouldicareabout said:How did Jordan Miller look, the CB commit from Oceanside?

As I read on another thread, this is the first time Biggins has seen Browning in a live game. Yet he sure had an opinion, based on the summer circuit. These recruiting d-bags are a joke.BlowItUp said: -
It's hard to say because it was such a one-sided beat down, but from what i could tell he's pretty underwhelming. He got beat on one on one coverage by some guy going to uc davis on a slant in the redzone. He made zero impact offensively, and the only kick off I saw him take he looked kinda slow. He appeared to have a bigger body, he looked the part, but the white kids from folsom played better.whatshouldicareabout said:How did Jordan Miller look, the CB commit from Oceanside?

A QB with a good arm wins us 10 games this year
-
Biggins is one of the good ones. I don't remember him bashing Browning, but even if he did he's not afraid to change that opinion now that he's seen him. He's not doubling down on a bad evaluation.HuskyInAZ said:

Biggins should never be lumped in with the LP3. -
waiiiiittttt..... so Biggins is part of the machine that ranks and rates these kids "sight unseen" and all of a sudden in the state championship game he's "oh wait this kid is a baller" so remind me why these 9 scout reps who clearly never played football think they're the decision makers for the next level?
-
He beat a bunch of surfer dudes
-
I'm not sure if they reshuffle the rankings again before signing day, but if they do Biggins essentially said Browning is moving up. Way up.
I bleat for Pete! -
Agree, but it does show how stupid recruiting rankings can be. Biggins hadn't seen him all year. He sees Browning have the same type of game he's had all year and now raves about him. If Browning threw two picks, he would say he had concerns. It's fickle bullshit.dnc said:

There are definitely significant small sample size issues, agreed, but that's kind of the essence of scouting in general. How many times did the UW staff see Browning live before they offered him? It's the nature of the beast, but it certainly speaks to why you should never take someone's ranking as gospel.RoadDawg55 said:

Finally another poster kinda gets it. Not just arm JW. Its the cerebral part that needs improvement. Too many open rreceivers left open. Just stepping up in pocket, keeping eyes downfield and throwing with anticipation gets us to 10 wins.HuskyJW said:A QB with a good arm wins us 10 games this year

I bet Petersen and/or staff attended multiple practices last spring/summer, had watched real game film (not highlights), and attended a game or two this year.dnc said:

Disagreements are fine, but this open disrespect needs to end. This isn't the first time we've had this discussion Steelheader. Reread the rules. There aren't many, and it's not real difficult to follow.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

Next time there won't be a warning, you'll just be gone. -
