Perfect example of the importance of diversification.
50% of Russia's revenue comes from oil exportation. When 50% of your nation's income loses half it's value within one year, you're pretty much screwed. That also doesn't factor in the corruption and extreme financial inefficiencies the Russian economy has to deal with on a daily basis. -
