Ugh, your schedule this year, even with the two bowl game playoffs (assuming you win) would not be the toughest path to claim a NC. I'm too lazy to research it but i seriously doubt your schedule matches up the the toughest ever. Shit, I think UW 1991 was harder than yours this year with playing SC, Cal, Nebraska, Michigan. Michigan State, Arizona (lol), Florida State, and Alabama not that much different.

SC was 3-8 in 1991. and based on doogic I've heard before, if Cal was the next tuffest team in the conference that year, and it was, then the Pac had to have been down. Right?

Pac had 3 teams in the top 20 in 91 - UW, Cal and UCLA. Stanford made the low end of some top 25 lists. I'm liking the Pac 12s chances of having about that kind of representation.

The road game at Nebraska was tuff. Oregon's home game against Michigan State was tuff. Exactly equal? No. But then again, that same Nebraska team got ass raped by Miami and didn't crack 100 yards rushing, RUSHING, for the game. That's right, I'll say it again: a Nebraska team that rushed for a game TOTAL of 80 yards. Maybe not that tuff.

Finally, Michigan was a joke compared to what Oregon will face if, IF, they win the title, which I rather doubt. Florida State hung 51 fucking points on them AT Michigan. Juggernauts do not give up 51 pts. at home. Their 31 pts. had a lot of garbage time scoring too - I watched the game with much interest. I know. Florida State kicked Michigan's ASS at Michigan. That Michigan team would get boat raced against either FSU or Bama. Against Oregon too for that matter.

In 1991, Washington would have had to go through Miami and, likely, Florida State to get it. Maybe they would have. If so, THAT would have been harder than what they had to do. Likewise with Miami.
