I was surprised an official didn't throw a flag as a reaction to seeing something unusual.PurpleBaze said:

Anyone else remember doing that d-line drill? That was a middle school & JV fixture for us.

That play will be on his draft highlight clip. It will be seen 1000s of times.

That was funny shit. I suppose it was a functional thing, but I just saw it as a big, bad ass dude who is pumped up and having fun. I've read some scouting shit on Shelton and people mention his passion. He plays with fire, but then when you see him after and between plays he's calm and all business. He doesn't look tired or pissed or anything else other than focused. It's been an impressive thing watching him get better in every way.

Whether it's maturity & experience or the new staff, Sark & Co didn't get 50% of the production from Shelton that they got this year.DerekJohnson said:

Does anyone honestly expect Shelton to have this kind of season if Sark and his band of frat fags were still around? Danny had a good end of the season last year and you could tell he was due for a good senior season but I didn't see anything quite like this coming.
Choate gets a big A+ from me for not only the progression on Shelton but A Hudson, Qualls, Mathis, and even Utilizing Kikaha more efficiently. -
Choate gets the coveted assistant of the year award in a landslide. I think his pressers are pretty kick ass too.CuntWaffle said:Does anyone honestly expect Shelton to have this kind of season if Sark and his band of frat fags were still around? Shelton, Kikaha and Shaq took their games to an All-American level. You can credit Petersen or at the least credit him changing their mindset. The sad thing is if the DL was this good last season we would have been in a BCS Bowl.
