Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

It looks like Nick Montana will be starting for Tulane

If Price gets hurt it sure would've been nice to have 4th year backup with some experience, and enough talent to start for another D1 school.

I would love to know more about how that whole situation was handled.

He wanted to start and knew he couldn't at UW.

    Pretty simple.

we have decent backups, montana was severely limited especially behind our line that struggles in pass blocking, I'm not losing any sleep cause he transfered

Not arguing that Montana is better than Price. But the program would be stronger right now if Sark had been able to keep Montana and help him develop here.

He's how the situation was handled:

Price worked at his craft. Montana went out and got drunk and fingered rich sorority girls.

It was clear that Price was the better QB in the spring of 2011.

Montana got a chance vs. OSU when Price was injured. Montana played like shit.

    Price was/is better than Montana.

Kim got another one of his predictions wrong to the benefit of Hardcore Husky.
Amazingly, this total miss was not one of Kim's worst predictions.

He had no chance to start until he was a senior. Instead he left to go start at a JC for a year then now will start for two years at Tulane.

Plus the longer the QB stays with Sark the worse they get.

I hope our backups get in a few series. They are a twisted ankle away from leading the offense.

I'd like to see Hugh Millen as QB coach

Yeah we might be better off with an older, more experienced backup, but if you lose a QB competition to a guy who is only one year ahead of you in school, and you're facing the prospect of being a backup for 3 years - what would you do?

I called him "Big Sky" when he was at UW. I liked to call him that.

We need more threads about a bad quarterback that would be 4th string now anyways.

Hung out with him a couple times. He definitely partied pretty hard. One night we played a pick up football game on the street after drinking until the cops broke it up saying we were disturbing the peace lol

thays not how it works. if sark had been able to keep him. shut the fuck up. montana did not want to pyt in the work. he was too busy drinking and trying to fuck every girl in a few sorority houses. thay was more of an accimplishment for him than football. his dad wanted him to leave because he was never going to play. our team would not be better right now with him here. you dont know shit about football

I will gladly bet that he is not a 2 year starter @ Tulane.
