Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

It looks like Nick Montana will be starting for Tulane

If Price gets hurt it sure would've been nice to have 4th year backup with some experience, and enough talent to start for another D1 school.

I would love to know more about how that whole situation was handled.

He wanted to start and knew he couldn't at UW.

    Pretty simple.

we have decent backups, montana was severely limited especially behind our line that struggles in pass blocking, I'm not losing any sleep cause he transfered

Not arguing that Montana is better than Price. But the program would be stronger right now if Sark had been able to keep Montana and help him develop here.

He's how the situation was handled:

Price worked at his craft. Montana went out and got drunk and fingered rich sorority girls.

It was clear that Price was the better QB in the spring of 2011.

Montana got a chance vs. OSU when Price was injured. Montana played like shit.

    Price was/is better than Montana.

Kim got another one of his predictions wrong to the benefit of Hardcore Husky.
Amazingly, this total miss was not one of Kim's worst predictions.

He had no chance to start until he was a senior. Instead he left to go start at a JC for a year then now will start for two years at Tulane.

Plus the longer the QB stays with Sark the worse they get.

I hope our backups get in a few series. They are a twisted ankle away from leading the offense.

I'd like to see Hugh Millen as QB coach

Yeah we might be better off with an older, more experienced backup, but if you lose a QB competition to a guy who is only one year ahead of you in school, and you're facing the prospect of being a backup for 3 years - what would you do?
