HuskyClaus says all the complaining is sickening. There are days he can't come to the board because it's so depressing. This place is becoming doogman jr because you guys are all Petersen guys. HuskyClaus and WunderDoog would fit right in here.
I'm a fucking Petersen guy myself and loved the hire. I was very vocal about that, but fuck, you go 2-5 and make some questionable coaching decisions and fans are going to be pissed off and question things. If it was Nuss or Wilcox or some other shitty coach that was 2-5, you guys who still cared would be going off the rails over this season. It's not really about Petersen, it's about the results.
What the fuck are the boards for? No criticism or comments until it's played out for three years? If you think it's a dead horse, make a topic about players or individual plays if you want to talk about other stuff. Were the million threads last year about Sark being a fucking joke not beating a dead horse?

The problem is some of you talk about how disagreeing is what this board is about then completely retract on that statement by getting upset that people are disagreeing with you.

It seems that CP is still learning on the job. IIRC this was one of your main complaints about Sark. He shouldn't have been learning on the job and making these mistakes. I was ecstatic about the hire of CP so these mental errors are completely baffling to me.
I do realize the UW job pays $3.2million.....but again we are wayyyyyy overpaying for what we are getting. It's just what we do. Will he get better as time goes on? Maybe....but if he's the 20th highest paid coach...we are nowhere near the #20 team in the country and he's getting outcoached by guys making less than him (at least right now.)

The coaching overpayment is one of the causes for all of the money grubbing "ruining" of tradition at HS for one.

It's only what the job pays because you grossly overpaid Try and Suck. If Peenerman fails, you'll pay the next failure even more for having to step into a career killing job.
