I'm just trying to clarify what Chavez means by 'all-time greats'

Robert Upshaw is putting on an absolute clinic. I know, I know, South Carolina State... But we finally have a big man that A) can get down the floor B) Play defense without fouling and C) has something other than cinder blocks for hands.

I said, "if" he stays 4 years he could be an alltime great for UW. Which yes, puts him in line with those that you mentioned. He is going to be a monster in college and hopefully has a few people on the floor to join him. i'm not convinced he stays more than this year. Either way, hes not at those getns level yet, but he is in game 1 of his 2nd season(so essentially 3 years left) to mold his legacy. I like his chances

Solid inside, solid at PG, formula for success.
Can't shoot can't win though, from what I saw tonight we lack outside shooters

And NWG could be an all time great for husky bball if he stays around for 4 years. The kid just has it

You take Goss over IT, Nate, or Conroy?
I would take NWG over Conroy. No to the other two, but I'm with Chavez. NWG is really good. NWG was on a US team with Marcus Smart, Aaron Gordon, and a bunch of other really good players and NWG held his own and played well. He wasn't a 12th man. He was a solid contributor for the team. He was also the best player for Findley Prep, who is a top high school team with tons of talent.

Last year, there was the debate about him going pro. He wasn't close to ready, but he is/was as good as Tyler Ennis from Syracuse, who was a first round pick. The only difference was Tyler Ennis played on Syracuse and NWG played on dreckfest UW.

Barring injury, NWG absolutely leaves for the association this year

Shooting is a big fucking problem. We need at least two guys that are credible marksmen to fuck with the zones that every team is going to run against us.

We definitely look like a more balanced team (against fucking South Carolina State). It's refreshing to see a couple big men out there that actually look like they know what they're doing.
