Drinking alcohol has its benefits and a lot of people really enjoy a nice glass of wine (perhaps a $12 one) with dinner.
On a side note, why does it always have to be "I enjoy a nice glass of wine".. and always add the "with dinner" caveat?
Are they trying to make it sound like they are not raging alcoholics? "I like to drink a whole bottle of any old wine between 2 and 3 PM...."
We get it, we you want to make people think you're not a big drinker...but we are on to you.

These kind of people are annoying as fuck. Who gives a shit if you like to drink? That is your choice. If you like to do it a lot and in substantial quantities then that is also your choice. If it gets to the point where it gets in the way of your work/family/whatever then that is your problem.... but holy shit don't try and give me the health benefits bullshit. If you like to drink you like to drink and you shouldn't have to justify it. Simple fact.

I wouldn't even pay $37.50 for a bottle of wine. I'm perfectly happy with the $9-$15 variety. If I splurge, I'll spend $20. But then, I'm not part of the pretentious businessman crowd either.

Dine and dash opportunity.

don't forget they drink it for the antioxidants

It's because they've been lectured and condescended to by the puritanical assholes, and we should empathize with their plight. It's about time that alcoholics formed their own pressure groups.

Obviously none of you fucks have had my wine of the month club. Just subscribe for 10.95 and i'll suggest a wine that's massively overpriced but drinks like 2-buck-chuck.*
*no wine is actually included in this offer, i'm merely offering what I may have heard is good by reading wine enthusiast and twitter
